Asengana online presence includes the Asengana Project Management, Online Writing Software, and its associated websites (the “Platform”). It’s Asengana’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our Platform.
Asengana collects information that web browsers and servers make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Asengana collects such non-identifying information to understand better how Asengana’s visitors use its website. From time to time, Asengana may release non-identifying information in an aggregated format, e.g., by publishing statistic reports about the usage of the Platform.
Asengana also collects potentially identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged-in users. Asengana discloses logged-in users’ IP addresses under the conditions described below.
The user of Asengana’s Platform chooses to interact with Asengana in ways that require Asengana to gather personally identifying information. The amount and type of information that Asengana gathers depends on the type of interaction. For example, we ask a visitor who signs up for an account to provide the name and email address. If you engage in transactions with Asengana, such as purchasing a subscription, you are asked for payment information. In each case, Asengana collects such information if necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of your interaction with Asengana.
Asengana does not disclose personally identifying information other than as described below. A visitor can always refuse to supply personally identifying information, but this will mean that the visitor may not be allowed to engage in certain activities.
Asengana may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its Platform. Asengana may display this information public or provide it to others. However, Asengana does not disclose personally identifying information other than as described below.
Asengana discloses potentially personally identifying and personally identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that need to know that information to process it on Asengana’s behalf or to provide services available at Asengana’s websites, and have also agreed not to disclose it to others.
Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside your home country; by using the Platform, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. Asengana will not rent or sell potentially personally identifying and personally identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations, as described above, Asengana discloses potentially personally identifying and personally identifying information only in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request, or when Asengana believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of Asengana, third parties or the public at large.
If you are a registered user of Asengana and have supplied your email address, Asengana may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with our services. If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. Asengana takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally identifying and personally identifying information.

The lifetime expectancy deals with when a cookie is set to expire. The party-origin classification concerns the domain and party responsible for placing a cookie in a user’s browser.
The combination of the cookie lifetime and party-origin types are then used to further classify the cookie, which in turn dictates whether consent is required from the user who is visiting the web site.
